You know what I notice in the hallways at school?
Friends.
Greeting each other with big, comforting hugs,
And warm smiles.
Voices being passed back and forth,
"Hey! Are you going to try out for the team?"
Or,"are you going to join that club?"
Best friends trying out for teams together; one friend makes it,
The other doesn't.
One becomes a jock,
The other classified as a loser.
You know what I notice in the hallways at school?
Strangers.
